What are Uricoins?
Uricoins are EriRide's community points. Every time you post a ride or search for one, you earn Uricoins.
Why Uricoins?
EriRide is built by its community. The people who show up early, post rides, and help the network grow deserve a share of what they helped create. Uricoins are that share.
How do I earn them?
Post a ride: earn Uricoins. Search for a ride: earn Uricoins. When your post matches a search (or vice versa): you both earn double.
How many are there?
1,000,000 Uricoins total, distributed over 3 years. The earlier you participate, the more each action is worth. Supply decreases every day.
What are they worth?
Today, nothing yet. In the future, Uricoins may convert into a real stake in EriRide. Early members who helped build the community will be rewarded first.
This sounds like crypto.
It is inspired by it. Fixed supply, early adopter advantage, community ownership. But no blockchain, no wallet, no speculation. Just a simple promise to the people who showed up first.
How points are weighted
Posting a ride (Rider) is worth 3 units, searching (Seeker) 1.5 units, and sending a contact 0.25 units. Riders take the most risk by committing a seat, so they earn the most. Sending a contact message earns a small number of Uricoins — contacts benefit from the network but don't contribute to it directly.
Expected activity targets
We start small: 3 rides and 6 searches per day in the first two weeks. We aim to grow to 15 rides and 30 searches per day by end of year one. The Uricoin supply adjusts automatically: more activity means each action is worth slightly less, but the total community reward stays fixed at 1,000,000 Uricoins over 3 years.
